Job Title: Assistant to CEO /Operation Manager
Salary Range: 1500$-2500$
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Industrial : Construction and Engineering
Report to: CEO
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Management
- Develop and implement the company’s strategic plans, business goals, and operational policies
- Lead and manage all departments including construction, engineering, procurement, finance, sales & marketing, and administration
- Provide strong leadership to senior managers and ensure alignment with company objectives
2. Operations & Project Oversight
- Oversee all construction projects to ensure timely completion, cost control, and quality standards
- Monitor project planning, execution, risk management, and problem resolution
- Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
3. Financial & Business Performance
- Manage company budgets, cash flow, cost control, and profitability
- Review financial reports, approve major expenditures, and optimize operational efficiency
- Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion strategies
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, suppliers, contractors, and government authorities
- Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and external engagements
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and company reputation
5. Human Resource & Team Development
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, and staff development
- Build a strong management team and promote a results-driven and professional culture
- Ensure compliance with labor law and internal HR policies
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance across all operations
- Identify business risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain company governance, reporting, and internal controls
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s Degree (MBA or related) is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction, real estate, or engineering industries
- At least 5 years in a senior management or general management role
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects and multi-department operations
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent financial management and business planning ability
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
Language & Technical Skills
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); Khmer required
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, project management software)
