Job Title: MEP BIM Modeler

Salary range: 500$-700$
Industrial: Construction and Engineering   
Location: Chroy Chang Va, GDT office  Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Report to: / MEP Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Modeling & Documentation

  • Create, update, and maintain detailed MEP BIM models (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) using Revit or other BIM software
  • Prepare coordinated MEP shop drawings, layouts, sections, and details
  • Ensure models comply with project specifications, standards, and design requirements

2. Coordination & Clash Detection

  • Perform clash detection and coordination with architectural and structural models
  • Collaborate with design consultants, engineers, and site teams to resolve clashes
  • Update models based on coordination outcomes and site conditions

3. Construction & Site Support

  • Support project teams with BIM-related technical information and drawings
  • Update BIM models based on approved shop drawings and as-built conditions
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and BIM deliverables

4. Quality Control & Standards

  • Ensure BIM models follow company BIM standards, LOD requirements, and naming conventions
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of BIM data
  • Support BIM Manager in model audits and quality checks

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain proper BIM documentation and model version control
  • Prepare BIM progress reports as required by management or project teams

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MEP BIM Modeler
  • Experience in construction, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects is an advantage

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Revit MEP (mandatory)
  • Familiar with Navisworks for clash detection
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM collaboration workflows
  • Understanding of MEP systems, standards, and construction methods

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach

Language & IT Skills

  • Basic to good English communication; Khmer required
  • Strong computer literacy
